Hi, my name is Evan. I practice therapy with a firm belief that no one is broken.

I view developing self-acceptance and kindness toward oneself as a foundational aspect of growth and healing. I’m not here to “fix” you, but rather bring you back to yourself and the wholeness that’s already within you.

As a musician, drummer, yoga instructor and former ice hockey player, I bring a multidimensional approach to being a psychotherapist. I understand the nuance of striking a balance between toughness and sensitivity, grit and compassion. I’ll focus on helping you learn to be kind and compassionate toward yourself so that you can start living your life from a place of “already enough,” and begin taking actions that truly support your well-being. Sometimes, learning to accept yourself as you are is the first step toward meaningful change.

About Me

I’m a licensed psychotherapist with more than 6 years of experience in the mental health field. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.

Prior to venturing into solo practice, I worked as an Embedded Counselor at the University of Maryland Counseling Center in College Park, MD. Before that, I held multiple positions at Emerson Street for Teens & Young Adults, which is a mental health program based in Denver, CO. Earlier in my career, I held multiple positions in various outpatient mental health clinics providing therapy to clients across the lifespan.

I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in psychology and Master of Arts (M.A.) in clinical psychology. While earning my master’s degree, I held a position as a graduate assistant at the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism, which is part of Towson University’s Institute for Wellbeing, where I developed a passion for supporting neurodivergent and autistic people.

In January 2021, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at red lila School of Yoga. I utilize my background as a yoga instructor to integrate the mind-body connection in psychotherapy.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active, listening to music, playing drums, going to concerts, spending time outdoors and connecting with friends and family.
